Icelandic Food

The Icelandic diet used to consist of fish, mainly Cod and Haddock.  However over the past 30 years Icelanders have adopted meat into their stable food, like Pork, Chicken and Beef.  Lamb has always been there, both fresh and smoked.  Fish has become quite expensive so the white meats have replaced it.
